A Tui enjoying a Pohutukawa's pollen and nectar The Tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) is an endemic passerine bird of New Zealand. It is one of the largest members of the diverse Australasian honeyeater family. Tui love the nectar giving flowers of the Pohutukawa tree. Tui are found through much of New Zealand.
